About

The team behind OpenAgent

We're a small team operating out of Bengaluru. We build OpenAgent because every customer-support platform we've used either marked up AI tokens, locked us into one model, or both. The fix is structural: bring your own LLM, pay your model vendor at list price, keep the platform fee flat and predictable.

The people who write here

Every guide and comparison on this site is signed by one of us. We don't outsource long-form content and we don't ship AI-generated copy without our names on it. If you have a question about something we wrote, email the author and you'll hear back from them, not a CSM mailbox.

Sujith Sasidharan

CTO & Technical Architect

Sujith leads the engineering and platform architecture behind OpenAgent. A technologist who works on scalable, cloud-native systems, he focuses on the design of the AI-grounding pipeline, secure handling of model API keys, and the data layer that makes BYO LLM tick. His take: complexity belongs in the code, not in the user interface.

Javad PK

CEO & Product Strategy

Javad runs strategy and the business case for OpenAgent. He writes about the economics of customer support: cost per ticket, the ROI of AI agents versus a hire, when human-in-the-loop pays for itself, and how to size a support stack without overbuying. Previously advised high-growth startups on scaling people-ops and operational efficiency.

Pournami T

QA Engineer

Pournami works on the quality and reliability of OpenAgent's chat surface and AI pipeline. With over five years across HRMS and travel platforms, she focuses on end-to-end testing, real-world reliability, and making sure the AI doesn't ship surprises into production. Writes about widget quality, accessibility, and how to test an AI agent like you'd test any other production system.

Sanjana S

Project Manager

Sanjana drives the delivery side of OpenAgent: customer onboarding, project execution, and the playbooks teams use to get from signup to live chat in under an hour. She's a strong advocate of structured remote collaboration and writes about the practical, not-glamorous side of getting AI customer support actually shipped.
